9th February 2018
Dear Parents,
This half term has been incredibly busy and has flown by. I would like to thank the children and staff for their hard work and thank you for your support. I hope the half term break gives everyone a chance to rest and recuperate ready to return after the holiday with energy and vigour.
The children participating in WASMA had their first rehearsal this week at All Saints School. It is great to see the children practising their parts on the playground. Thank you Mrs Gan and Mrs Coulson for your time and commitment towards making this happen; we are really looking forward to seeing the children perform at the Hexagon in March.
On Wednesday we were fortunate to have Joanne Myall from Lloyds Bank in school for an assembly on e-safety. The assembly was for children in years 2-6 and was a great way to capture the key messages to keep our children safe online. This has also been followed up in classes throughout the week. Thank you, Joanne.
After half term there will be a music assembly; if your child wishes to be part of it, please see Mrs Gan during the first week back.
Today the children have said goodbye to Amelia and James; we hope that they will be very happy in their new school. Arthur, George and Annabelle will also be starting at a new school after half term, again we wish for them to be very happy.
For your information the park opposite school will be closed for 1 week from the 26th February for fence maintenance and tree surgery.
Wishing you a very wonderful half term break
Jacquie Vanstone
