Children's Mental Health Week Feb 23: we looked at the importance of connecting with others and looking out for loneliness.
Pupil Advocacy Week January 2023: We kick-started the Spring term by considering the ways in which we could serve our community. A local first-responder talked to us about her valuable role in the community and why she was inspired to follow this line of work. . Then, we all received first aid training for burns, choking and CPR and next day we invited our parents in to school show our families what to do in an emergency.
Mental health is such an important aspect of healthy living. Our KS2 children are now trained as mental health champions. We learnt about good strategies for feeling calmer. Can you remember how you can support good mental health for yourselves, their families and their friends.
