Good afternoon,

 

This is a quick newsletter as a thank you.  We have had a wonderful week with parents joining us for the new Reception children visit, Leavers' service, Chaffinch learning event, Open evening and Sports day. The children have shone during all of these events and we are proud of them. We hope you have enjoyed the week's events.

 

My thanks go to all the staff for moving from one event to another, along with the normal learning and routines of the days.  Mrs Martinez (and family) and Mrs Baker led the French Cafe which was wonderful and I am very grateful for all they have done.

 

Today we have enjoyed a fantastic and hot Sports day with the Blues winning this year.  The children were enthusiastic, competitive and encouraging.  Thank you Mr O'Reilly for organising it so brilliantly. Thank you for everyone who helped, enabling Sports day to go ahead.

 

We are looking forward to a busy two days next week and invite you all to our End of Year assembly at 1.15pm on Tuesday, we then break up at 2pm.
