Good evening,

 

It has been such a wonderful week in  school.  The children are all settled into their classes and it has been lovely to see their engagement and smiles. 

 

This week, I began tours for Reception 25 which is always a pleasure.  Next week, we look forward to welcoming our SIAMS inspector on Tuesday.  She will be outside at drop off time in the morning to see parents and children arriving and I hope many of you have the opportunity to speak to her.

 

I would like to say well done to our Year 6 who all applied to be Prefects.  I love to interview our Year 6 alongside Mrs Wirth and felt proud of them all.  We also have had our School Council nominations and the children who will be representing the school this year are delighted.  Mrs Dodds leads our School Council and I know she is looking forward to working with them.

 

Next week will be busy with Tag rugby for some and a football match for others.  We have our inspection on Tuesday and our new room opening on Thursday.  Please feel free to join us on Thursday at 2.15 for an assembly and then the opening.
