6th June 2025
Good afternoon,
In just 4 days, we have achieved so much! I hope you had a lovely half term. It has been great to hear from the children about what they enjoyed and it is also lovely to see them back enjoying their learning and time with friends.
I have emailed the calendar dates out to you for the term, so please be in touch if you haven't received the email. The Summer term is always busy, so keeping a close eye on that document will be helpful.
On Monday we have our first DT/Art club running, please find a link here to sign your child up to it. Each child will then be expected to attend each week with the last session on 7th July.https://forms.office.com/e/vtXAQ4KjiK?origin=lprLink
I wanted to take this opportunity to ask for collection stickers/cards to be kept at home now to avoid any getting lost or incorrectly swapped. Thank you.
I always have many people to thank but I wanted to make a special mention to Mr Cundy and his neighbour Roger. They have tirelessly kept our school grounds looking wonderful and the biggest job came last weekend with the wild area at the front of school. So much time was given to clear and tidy this and I am very grateful to them both. Our school is shown an enormous amount of love and support from our community and jobs both big and small are noticed and make a tremendous difference. We have awarded more HOC badges this week and we are proud to see the children following our lead and serving the community.
With the Village Fete fast approaching, I have attached a competition form which I am sure children will enjoy participating in.
We began this week with Bullfinch discovering that their chairs had gone missing. The excitement was great and it certainly created the perfect writing opportunity. We have ended the week with a group of children participating in a sports competition. They were so happy, encouraging and competitive. Well done to Bailey and Leo - our winners!
I wish you a lovely weekend.
With kind regards
Jacquie Vanstone
