10th October 2025
Good afternoon,
I hope you are well. We have had another great week in school. It has been a pleasure to spend time in each class. I can see a love for learning and the quality of relationships that make the classrooms great places to be. There has been lots of baking this week in the infants of both cakes and bread which the children have really enjoyed and benefited from.
Last week, I shared a Go Fund Me page set up by FOFSA to enable us to purchase 20 laptops and a trolley for them. These laptops will enable the children to work on them independently rather than always as a pair and multiple classes can use them at one time, enhancing learning. We are grateful for the support given to this page as we rely so heavily on community support and contribution. We were blown away on Wednesday to be told that through the business of one of our parents, Mr Bosworth, 20 laptops and a trolley were on their way to us! This is so incredibly generous and we really can't thank them enough. The company is Datanet installations Services UK. I look forward to welcoming Mr Bosworth into school soon so the children can share their appreciation. We really are amazed!
The Go Fund Me page is still running and the target altered. The money raised will be spend on the set up of the laptops through our IT technicians as well as some class based laptops and potentially support with our wifi so please keep giving.

If any parents have any wifi expertise, we are needing to upgrade our wifi system and would love any support.
Today, we have celebrated Hello Yellow. The children have enjoyed showing their accessories and it will be the basis of discussion over the next few weeks to support our pupils and their understanding of mental health. Thank you for your support today, I attach lots of photos to hopefully remind us all that we are are not alone with our mental health.
At a governor meeting on Tuesday evening, it was wonderful to celebrate all that we have done, achieved, experienced and offered over the past five weeks and I can't believe we only have two weeks left before half term.
I wish you all a lovely weekend and look forward to seeing you next week, enjoy the yellow photos!
