    Good afternoon,

It has been a fantastic week as we have celebrated Christmas in many different ways.  Thank you for your support with our Christmas play. We raised an amazing £313 for our school.  We felt proud of the children as they performed together on stage.  They worked hard and have all grown in confidence.  There is so much involved in such a performance which is beneficial to the children and I thank Mrs Gan, Mrs Coulson and all the staff for creating this valuable, enjoyable and memorable experience.

Since then, our Music group has performed at Friendly Finches which is always a lovely occasion for everyone to enjoy.  Mrs Gan took 19 children, which is a great number representing the school.

Our Christmas lunch was so much fun. The children looked great in their Christmas jumpers, and it is such a special occasion to all eat together at the same time.

Mrs Gan is moving from one event to another and this afternoon took our Choir to a carol concert rehearsal.  This weekend we have our Christmas Fair from 3pm to 5.30pm which we hope to see you at. On Sunday, I am looking forward to seeing the Loddon Valley carol concert.

Next week, we have our Carol Service at the church on Wednesday.  We would like the children to leave book bags etc. at home on this day and, if possible, bring their lunch in a disposable bag unless they are having a school lunch.  The children will be walking up with lanterns, so we would like both their hands to be free.  We will be walking the children up after lunch, and we ask for parents to pick them up from the church between 3pm and 3.15pm.  Any children who have clubs after school, we will walk them back to school.  I will send out a form to ask if parents will be joining us for the service.

We are excited to have been given the opportunity on Thursday morning to take some of our music group to sing at the new Sainsbury's in Arbofield.  A letter will be sent home on Monday for this, and we are hoping to transport the children ourselves.  If there are any offers of help with transport, we would be very grateful.  We will be there from 11am for up to an hour.

Finally, we have our assembly on Friday at 9am which parents are invited in for and then the school day ends at 2pm.

I would like to close by wishing you a great weekend.  We hope you join us at the Christmas fair.  Our FOFSA committee have worked incredibly hard, and I am sure it will be a great occasion not to be missed.  Thank you for your support.

    With kind regards
