    Good afternoon.

If we could ever squeeze more into a week, I would be amazed!

This is a short news update as I know we have seen many of you in school throughout the week and I will be in touch next week with some final end-of-term messages.

Our Advocacy afternoon was such a joy to see and be part of.  The children and staff put so much into the afternoon and displayed commitment and passion.  We will share the totals raised as soon as we can, and thank you very much for your support.

Rosefinch and Bullfinch had a fantastic trip on Wednesday.  It was so lovely to see the excitement on their faces as they saw the coach arrive!  A huge amount of work goes into all our trips and I thank everyone involved in making it such a success.

We are very proud of our Year 6 for their Bikeability.  They were praised for their cycling as well as their behaviour and I know it has encouraged many of them to cycle even more.  This will serve them well as they move onto secondary school.

Mrs Gan led a fantastic music assembly yesterday celebrating music throughout the school as well as our Fife club and the achievements of children outside of school.  Thank you, Mrs Gan, it was such a treat and provided important recognition and inspiration.

Whilst the assembly was taking place, our new starters in Reception came to visit and met with their buddies.  They settled so well, and we can't wait to welcome them in September.

I thought I would finish with the key information for next week:

Monday - Leavers' evening for Year 6

Tuesday - Church Service  9am- Reception and Year 6 Bibles will be presented and this will be a Leavers' service.  All parents are welcome.

Wednesday - Please can as many children as possible be packed lunch as we then have our End of Year assembly at 1.15pm - all parents welcome and then we finish the year at 2pm.

I look forward to seeing you next week.

    With kind regards

    Jacquie Vanstone
