    Good Afternoon

It is hard to believe we are just one week away from the Easter holidays.

We have had another great week.  It was a treat for me to attend the Easter Experience at the Baptist Church in Wokingham with Year 6.  They behaved brilliantly and showed great knowledge and interest.  There has been lots of outdoor learning, including ECO club on Thursday led by Mrs Dodds.  We were sad to say goodbye to our guinea pig this week, but Moo had a lovely and long life.  Today the children met Jingle and Diego and were very excited to do so.

Before I move onto next week, I wanted to share the news that Mr and Mrs O'Reilly are expecting the arrival of his second child over the next few weeks!  This is an exciting time and I look forward to sharing their news with you!

Every week feels busy, but next week might be our busiest yet!  Hopefully the information below will be helpful.

    FOFSA message

FOFSA are pleased to be running an Easter Competition in conjunction with the day. Children can come wearing their best Easter Bonnets or bring in an Easter Garden creation to be in with a chance to win an Easter Egg prize. There is a prize per year group for the best entry (judged by teaching staff).  Entries can be brought into school from Monday and judging will take place Friday.

    Playground project work starting

Importantly next week, work is beginning on the top part of the playground.  We know this will be an inconvenience but we are keen to return after Easter with the work having been completed.  From Monday morning, we need the children to come into school through the front white door, and they will be dismissed this way as well apart from Goldfinch who can be dismissed through the door near their classroom.  We know this will not be easy, but we will do our best to dismiss efficiently and carefully, and we thank you for your support.

Whilst I wish you all a lovely weekend, I want to wish our WASMA group a fantastic performance on Saturday at The Hexagon.  It is such a wonderful occasion and I can't wait to see them on stage!  Mrs Gan and Mrs Coulson give up so much time to support the children.  We are incredibly lucky, and I thank them both for their dedication, time, commitment and talent.

May the sunshine stay, and you all have a great weekend.
