5th December 2025

Good afternoon

I hope you have had a good week.  School has transformed over the week and feels very Christmasy.  Thank you for your support today with donations for the Christmas Fair.  The children have enjoyed being in non-uniform.  Next Friday is a second Mufti day with a collection for bottles.  Thank you so much to the FOFSA committee; everything looks very exciting with regard to the auctions, raffles etc.

The children wore costumes today for their rehearsal and I wanted to thank you for your support with them.  We are looking forward to welcoming you to the performances next week.  We will have a collection at the end with money raised going to school.  Please bring cash if you are happy to contribute.  I will be sending home a form via email to sign up for seats for the relaxed performance on Tuesday morning just so we have an idea of how many seats will be needed.

This week has been filled with some special moments of reflection.  Our Assembly leaders led a Stilling assembly on Wednesday with a focus of hope.  It is so powerful to hear the children sharing their hopes for other people.   Our Stilling assembly was a reminder to me, and I hope to everyone, of the importance of slowing down at this time of year, feeling grateful and hopeful and with kindness at the heart all we do.

I have had the pleasure of leading more tours this week. We should all feel proud of what we are achieving.  The school play next week brings our whole school together, and I am sure it will be a fantastic start to Christmas celebrations.

I wanted to take this opportunity to remind parents that if you have any concerns, please contact class teachers.  We are here to support and want to work closely together.  I will be sharing a form via email to ask for your contribution to the consultation about uniform and I thank you in advance for taking the time to complete it.

We are finishing this dark, damp Friday with a 9-0 football win and a fantastic dance club session from Bohunt students.  Well done to all the children for their commitment and hard work.

Have a lovely weekend

With kind regards
