27th September 2024
Good afternoon,
Another week in school has flown by. I have had many opportunities to show people around our school this week. We had a visit from our new School Improvement Officer from Wokingham on Monday and then we have had parent tours throughout the week. It has been wonderful to see the children so engaged in their learning and working collaboratively together.
Next week our Year 6 children are off to PGL and I wish them a fantastic week. I am pleased to see that the forecast looks a little better! I will visit on Wednesday evening and I look forward to that.
We have a couple of calendar changes for the week ahead:
There will be no netball club on Thursday morning next week.
On Friday morning, we would like to invite parents in for a coffee morning between 8.45 and 9.15 with some of our School Council reps. If you wish to make a donation when you come, we will collect for Young minds charity ahead of our Hello Yellow day on 10th October.
I would like to wish our KS1 Multiskills group attending a festival at Hawkdon Primary School good luck, I am sure they will enjoy themselves.
Finally, an important message on parking. We have had many reports of parents blocking driveways and parking inconsiderately. Please make sure you take your time to park carefully and be considerate of our neighbours and everyone's safety.
Have a lovely weekend
