Extended Services

 

Extended Services is a government initiative started in 2004 to provide better outcomes for every child by providing children, young people, and families access to a "Core Offer" of services in their community.

 

Finchampstead Primary School is a member of a family of eight schools from the Finchampstead and Crowthorne area known as "FACT" (Finchampstead and Crowthorne Together). The other schools in this family are Hatch Ride Primary, Oaklands Infant and Junior, St Sebastians, Nine Mile Ride Primary, and Gorse Ride Infants and Junior.

 

The purpose of this family is to enable the schools to share ideas and good practice to ensure the best possible outcomes for their children and families. There is a wealth of information available to parents and carers about activities and services that exist in Wokingham and Bracknell boroughs and further afield. The FACT website aims to provide information that directly affects this family of schools, making it easier for parents and carers to find and access it.
